At the start of 2024, I set out to pursue a series of paintings inspired by the mountain landscapes of my home, the Pacific Northwest. This collection marks a pivotal chapter of my career, a time of purposeful exploration and navigating the unfamiliar parts of my own creative landscape. That is where Into the Wilderness was born.

THE PROCESS
What started as a prodding feeling to explore new creative mediums, became a deeper journey of trusting the process and following my intuition as an artist. From the moment I arrived to the canvas began the process of reaching inward. I let the painting reveal itself as I poured paint and meditated on every step, staying true to my artist voice the whole way through. That is what makes this collection so unique.
